The “Talk to Sarai” or TSE is a self-guided mobile exhibition that utilizes interactive mobile AR technology. It cognitively and emotionally engages users with the establishment, difficult heritage, and multi-cultural community of the city of Sulaimani, the cultural capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and a UNESCO Creative City in literature.

“Feel like me” combines art, culture, and digital technology to shed light on the massive amount of hate speech experienced by the Yazidi people and encourage empathy and local support towards the minorities. The project involves developing and publicizing a free mobile Augmented Reality (AR) app that puts users into the position and feeling of Yazidi people.

Virtual Sarai is a Virtual Reality (VR) project that enables a virtual visit to the Sarai building to meet and listen to historical figures and eyewitnesses from the early 20th century. In this immersive virtual environment, each of the virtual characters recounts their memories of important historical events from the period of British colonialism after the first World War and the early post-colonial era.
