Enlivening The Past, Understanding The Present, Building The Future
What is CHO?
The Cultural Heritage Organization (CHO) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research, education, and community engagement in the field of digital heritage since 2021. Through a combination of capacity building, publications, and innovative R&D initiatives, CHO works to preserve and promote cultural heritage using cutting-edge technologies.
Leveraging tools such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), CHO creates immersive, empathy-driven experiences that connect people with historical sites, events, and narratives. By transforming heritage into emotionally engaging and interactive virtual or mixed-reality spaces, CHO aims to foster deeper understanding and appreciation for culture—both locally and abroad.
