After a few months of preparations, we are very glad to start our new training course to develop AR and VR projects using accessible software on July 24th, 2025😍
The course is conducted by a famous international scientist of the field (Prof. Dr. Mark Billinghurst ) from the University of South Australia and the University of Auckland!
A number of our previously trained interns and a few other youth are participants of this top-notch training🙌

On July 15th, 2025, Dr. Rozhen Kamal Mohammed-Amin was invited, as the president of CHO and associate professor at Kurdistan Institution for Strategic Studies and Scientific Research (KISSR), to present on “From the Ground Up: Localising and Decolonising Digital Heritage in Iraq”.
During her presentation, she briefly talked about the history of our organization’s works and achievements, and also talked about many of the challenges in the fields of scientific research and technological capacities that we have in Kurdistan and Iraq, along with their negative impacts.
The online conference was organized by the Endangered Cultural Heritage in the Global South Hub (ECHGS) at the University of Oxford under the title “Digital Heritage and the Global South: Ethics, Politics, and Futures.” where many other international experts and professors presented on a variety of topics in the fields of heritage and technology.
